Who We Are

Founded over 200 years ago in 1806, Hopeful Lutheran Church ("Hopeful") is located at 6430 Hopeful Church Road, Florence, Kentucky 41042. Hopeful's mission is to welcome people to the faith in Jesus Christ; equip people with a faith that works in real life; and send people in service into the world in the name of Jesus Christ.
Founded almost 120 years ago in 1892, Bromley Christian Church ("BCC") is located at 216 Kenton Street, Bromley, Kentucky 41016.  BCC follows in Jesus' teachings of God's love and power of healing.  BCC's faith is what unites its members as a diverse congregation offering support to all God's children.  For over a century BCC has helped provide for the community through Sunday worship and community outreach.

Where the Money Goes

Because of the generosity of our participants and sponsors, almost all of the money raised by the Tour de Fright goes directly to the Community Outreach Funds of Hopeful Lutheran Church and Bromley Christian Church. Only a small percentage of the money raised will be held back to: (1) cover costs associated with putting on the event, and (2) tithe back to Hopeful and BCC.
